3rd Annual Haunted MINIs!!!!

Its that time of year again, you know the story by now, you arrive some place after dark and we lead you down some bumpy, windy roads to spots that are supposed to scare you to death. All I have to say to you people who are saying been there, done that is….WELCOME TO CAMP!!! This year the OSMC has rented out CampCrystal Lake (aka CampAldersgate) for our accommodations that night. We will gather there for orientation and camp counselor assignments, then we will venture out on our Rhode Island Paranormal group guided ride, then return for some food around the campfire and then retire to our heated, but very rustic cabins to sleep in bunks for the night (cabins sleep 16 people).

Update

Haunted MINIs is just a few days away! We are working hard to get everything in order for your arrival at camp. We just wanted to send you some information to help get you all prepared for the event.

First things first, the camp does not allow smoking or drinking on the grounds. They will however allow you to smoke in your car. Please be respectful of this.

Things to bring:
• A bag of your favorite candy for trick or treating with your fellow MINI owners
• Flashlights
• Warm jackets, hats, gloves, etc..
• Umbrella, poncho
• Two Way radios
• Emergency phone # 401-474-8152 (in case you get lost)

If you are spending the night add the following to the list:
• Sleeping bag
• Pillows
• Toothbrush
• Warm PJs (preferably the ones with the feet)

They early forecast for the weekend is stating 38 degrees at night so please dress and pack appropriately.

Costume contest
There will be 3 costume competition categories:
Best Human Costume
Best MINI Costume
Best overall theme for you, your MINI and passenger(s).

There will be time before the costume contest to dress yourself and the MINI, and again time will be afforded to change out of your costume before we depart. We have some very nice prizes for the costume contest all of which were donated from MINI of Peabody.

The drive and locations
For all of you first timers, you will be getting out of your car at each stop and some spots might include some walking. Please let us know a head time if you have any issues that could make that difficult.

You will be driving at night so we ask that you be cautious and mindful of your surroundings. The roads that we drive can be quite twisty at times and we want all to enjoy but please drive at a safe and comfortable pace.

Dinner
Dinner will be served after the drive which means a late dinner. Do not expect to eat until 10pm. Your goodie bags will have a couple of snacks to tide you over but please feel free to bring a few of your own snacks.

Any more details on the route? Where the tour is going?
Are pets OK?

the what to know section will be updated after registration closes....
no information will be given about the route..you just have to trust us...
and dinner is probably going to be pizza, sandwiches, chips and smores around the campfire...

as for pets they are not allowed at thecampground so sadly they can not come ths year...
