MINI of Peabody is pleased to announce it's 2nd annual "Competitive Driving Event", Sunday October 8th, 10-3PM, rain or shine.
Last year we did it in connection with "Care for Keith", and requested a $50 donation to that cause; this year's will be free to all ( we may have to limit participants, so it will be on a first come, first served basis). In addition to 14 licensed instructors, who will show you the capabilites of your MINI and it's performance ( as if most of us don't know!) we will have a BBQ, and many other items of interest to MINI owners.
Ask anyone who attended last year, you don't want to miss this!
If you have any questions, please email ptaylor@minipeabody.com
Just so everyone knows;
We will not have a pre-registration, just the usual MINI Mayehm. Please arrive around 9:00 a.m. We may be forced to limit the number of cars involved in the actual events depending on turn-out, but there will be a good time for all.
Just to address some concerns about space and availability;
We have LOTS of room, and will have over 10 professional instructors on hand... you don't have to be an expert, and you don't have to even participate in the Motoring Events. Just show up and have a good time. Last years event was a blast, and this year's promises to be even better.The BBQ alone will be worth the trip! The event will be held rain or shine at our beautiful new BMW Service facility on Centennial Drive in Peabody, which is right off of RT128/95 in Peabody , Ma.
I also just emailed Paul asking to be included; then I read the 2nd post. Gak. ;-) Looking forward to meeting some new folks! And BBQ. Musn't forget the BBQ.
Brian~
If you have the time, it will be a good time. Last years was a charity event and was covered by the news (CBS 4 locally, but played in 17 markets nationally). Here's a link to anyone that wants to see it... it was an absolute blast last year, I had to be pulled off the driving course I was having way tooo much fun!!!! Here's the link so you can see some footage of last years "Let's Meet MINI"..... Paul, I like this years name the best... OctoberFAST. We should have an annual OctoberFAST!!!!!
