Regional Flickr group?

Is there an existing Flickr group that serves this forum/region? Seems like there should be if there isn't already. I'd be happy to start one if one doesn't already exist. I know Jason and Josh are avid Flickrers, and three's a crowd, so that should be a good starting point. :-)

Is this a "post a few of your best" kind of group, or a "flood it" kind of group?

I think "a few of your best". Personally, I like to try to get/keep people's interest, rather than subject them to a slideshow of every single shot I took. :-) But there are no posting limits, so do whatcha like!

Would someone mind making this thread sticky? Does that make sense?

No group but I know at least I have most added to my contacts and therfore can easily check all their new photos posted once week or so. I did create groups for collective photos of the MINIsontops. But a NE group certainly would be good.

As with any other group, I prefer them to be "select a few of your best"...no one likes browsing through a bunch of the same photos. If you shoot a good one, add it.

Also I would think it makes sense to keep it kind of themed? Like something typical new england in the photo? Or not...just an idea.

Thanks, Josh. I wouldn't mind doing something themed, but in general, I wanted to have an analog to this forum on Flickr (just photos; there're enough discussion forums to keep track of as is).

I've never done this, but I think it'd be fun to get together for some kind of photo shoot. Photography's usually a pretty solitary thing for me (and that's not always a bad thing), but there are some things I'd like to experiment with that require another person.

We had a thread going a year or so ago to set up a boston-area photo shoot meet, but it kind of fizzled. We can always try again.
