Who is this Jason Stratham you speak of? That's me in the photo.

My usual flow of verbal diarrhea was staunched this morning. I was speechless when I received an email from Ian. Mega Ultra Thank You to Ian and Margaret for a most chivalrous and munificent contribution to Bill's Bills.

They've always had big hearts and come through. Kudos to both of you!

Steve, I don't know if you can get international donations via Paypal, but what about posting this under 'General Discussion'?

I agree and with that in mind yesterday
I pm'd Sherry, our local moderator, to see if we would be within mini2 guidelines. Don't want to post yet outside of this thread until I get the OK.
Rick will be emailing the info to MAMA members; I have contacted MINI of Peabody; and Cape Cod MINIs which will be meeting this Sat.
Will contact H.C. MINI also.
Ian has posted on GBMINI: Ians GBMINI (MINI Cooper) ? Blog Archive » Lucky, Bill and the BABE rally
I will be contacted other regional MINI groups, and MINI USA.
Any other suggestions are welcome.

A contribution from the MaxaMiniBro clan is winging it's way to you Steve. Wish it could be more, and you know that Ed would have been all over this! Good luck!

Heck, I think Ed would have dressed up as a duck and offered to ride on the roof to raise funds, not that this would be a safe plan..

I already posted to NAM in "off topic" "Miniac needs our support". good response so far. Someone asked me if Bill was hard of hearing as she thought she might have sat with him and his SO at MTTS at limerock.I couldn't answer her. By the way does anyone know his screen name (does he even post ????)

out of my mind.........back in five minutes.

The Eagle Has Landed

Lucky made it successfully to the Cape.
Notes:
-He pull to the left constantly. No prob, it's sort of like an early MINI
-Panic stop at 70 mph creates humongous nose dive and massive and way cool shuttering
-There is constant slight vibration in the steering wheel but it compliments Reggae beats very nicely.
-Upon arrival home there is a wafting odor of hot and burning oil
from the engine bay.
-There is black tape covering the constant on "Airbag Warning" misfire idiot light.
No sweat, all this is good!
The rear glass sticker that reads "My other # is 8" with a picture of some NASCAR dude is soooo cooooool.
The Deval Patrick rear glass sticker must stay too.
Now to the bad stuff:
-This car is wicked comfortable.
-Every part of it except for the carpet is incredibly clean.
-Cruise control works great.
-With OD on it cruises at 2K rpm at 70 mph.
-The OBC works for compass, mileage, fuel consumption, rally timer, and outside temperature.
-Fans and heat and A/C works great.
I am ****ed at Joe and Clair though because they didn't fill the tank, detail the car, or fill the wiper fluid

Glad you made it home ok.Don't forget those way cool rear power vent windows.I think if we pump up the L/F tire to about 80psi it will stop the pulling.

I think the four of you showing up in a duck covered, ancient minivan will pretty much kill your chances of pulling..!

Religion is like a huge dog. If it's yours it's very friendly and comforting, but it scares the heck out of everyone else.
