Now that I'm retired, I find it much more difficult to keep track of simple things. Can someone tell me how to donate to Bill's operation?

Being self employed I hear this line of poop alot. "The check is in the mail" my a-s-s.
Further proof of Secco's evil deceptions. I can't imagine living my life in the depredation that he embodies.

Bank of America has informed me that my modest contribution check was indeed cashed. The signature on the reverse reads, almost illegibly, Fishface.

So whence the gold? you might be murmuring. I'll keep you posted as I've decided to pursue this theft through the offices of Bo Diedl, famous detective.

You've got Paypal.

Yes, we made the round trip VA to NV and are currently in VA getting ready for the next round. Retirement isn't for the lazy.

I'm going to update her thread with pictures soon. She rode in the camper section watching out the window. She didn't particularly like the experience but seemed to think that the sun in LV was the kitty promised land. After lying in the window till her fur smoked, I think she's now more platinum than blond.

She tossed her kitty cookies twice, otherwise she was a very good traveller. She's packing for the Alaska adventure already.

Bill is looking better every day...although I would never tell him that to his face. Usually I say stuff like "Man, you look like sh-i-t", or "Crikey, you're ugly", etc.

An updated thank you is in order starting from where I left off last week:
Many thanks to the following generous souls:

Theo and Carol Matthias
Al Flett
Barbara Brown
Diana & Brian Gillis
Betsy Fenik
Nick Frangipane
Steve Fry
Dave and Mary Jean Thibodeau
Kurt and Lori Schneider
Sherry Crosslin and Jim Ray
Angus Crowe
Rita Bloomfield

Bill met another patient while at the hospital who took photos of one of the treatment rooms. Follow the link for some pics. of the set up:

How does this work exactly?

I've been doing some thinking about this. The two foot thick concrete walls keep the protons in the room, but after hitting the eye tumor, what keeps them out of anything behind the eye such as the brain?

The protons are absorbed in the millimeter of tissue they're focused on.
Protons, of course, meaning extra energy.
It works just like a highly focused microwave.

Of course, I had to read your post a second time. The first time I thought you said what keeps the poltroons in, and I don't think two foot thick padded walls is nearly enough.

Lucky gets oil and filter change next Tuesday. I've had the filter and oil for a while but it's too dang cold to do a driveway draining.
Heading up to see Nick at Hyannis Foreign Auto to get Lucky on the lift. We'll drop the pan at that same time and clean out the tranny flotsam and jetsam. He started right up yesterday despite not being turned over for a week or more. As soon as we have a moderately warm day I'll begin applying ducks.
