MOP Spring Rally Date CONFLICT...We don't need no Stinkin' Conflicts!
Well, I can guarantee that MOP knew of our May 20th date because they have been sent fliers from two different sources, me being one of them, and I chatted it up with Paul and anyone else who would listen when I picked up Stryk2 two weeks hence, blah-blah-blah ad nauseum.... BUT, never fear as we have already made the change-up and fixed the problem so that it will be an even more FUN weekend! **Lucky's Shakedown Cruise and MINI Meet has been changed to Saturday May 19th. It will begin with meeting in Hyanus and onto points throughout the Cape. We will end in Dennisport for the street party at Bill and Libby's for free food and drinks on us
We will cancel Carleton Hall (that's $80 bucks for more brats, weiners, and burgers!!). We will have a canopy set up in the cul-de-sac at Bill and LIbby's house in case it is inclement weather.
On Sunday we can all reconvene at MOP for the big spring rally! For those who are staying over we can caravan up from the Cape to Peabody.:blb lack: What fun
If anyone is staying over Saturday night the good news is that we have a good rate of $75- for lodging at a local motel with sea-view rooms. That info. should be posted but I don't know any more details.
I already have 5 extra guests at the house for Saturday night so can't take any more. Of course I could KICK Secco and maybe Rick out for a fee but will keep their lady folk , and of course Dan is too nice a guy to kick out.

That dang mop rally..I could have done my detailing day on saturday, the cape rally on sunday, and stayed a few extra days as my parents have a place for that week..but now everything is shuffled and reversed. Perhaps I can make the cape the following weekend. I am really hating my may and june schedules right now, which is only multiplied by the packed mini event calendar. I can't commit to anything yet till it all gets ironed out.
Thanks to Ric and Lois Haskins for their generous donation
A few things before I head off to Foulmouth to snort lead paint:
-Did I mention that I sent 10 medium sized plain ducks to the crafts and decoration department of the Boston Ballet? These are the folks who make, paint, and decorate the dancers costumes. They will be making 10 very special designer ducks to make Lucky look lovely Where's the smiley wearing a tiara?
-Libby and I met last night to go over the route, parking logistics, food/bevs, etc. Some highlites will be Scargo Tower, Chatham Light, Rock Harbor, MacMillan Wharf/Commercial Street, and Race Point followed by a free for all run back to Dennisport for good company, good food, and good drink. Current plans are to have 4 separate drinks stations a. sodas, b. keg, c. Mojitos, d.Margaritas. The town will be contacted this week to see the legality of blocking off their cul de sac. Hoping we have enough of you coming so we are forced to hire a detail cop.
-Ed, if you are up there what is the 40 day weather forecast for the Cape?
-There are some others involved too. A newly formed non-profit that helps people manage eye related medical disaster issues. Nice people, nice hats and stickers
-Herb Chambers MINI representation is in with both feet and coming. Hope MOP will choose to do the same.
-Lucky now owns two very high volume bubble machines. Mechanics of mounting on the roof with direct feed bubble mixture and power inverter are currently being analyzed.
-Lucky's new steering wheel wrap is too bad to describe
-Secco has offered to Ride The Whip. Looking into upgrading Lucky's insurance to include Acts of Stupidity.

I have two conflicts on Saturday - I'm not free until the afternoon and also an evening (I think) CCBCC meeting. When it gets close to the appointed day would you post expected arrival times at various waypoints? Maybe I could catch up with you duck people along the run. With your outdoor car entertainment (OCE) system I'll probably be able to find you from a mile away.

Jock, you didn't miss the details but you are still a loser. I guess the mass emailing that went out yesterday **** the bed. Seems like no one on the Bill's Bills Contibutors list got it. I'll try to remail it tonight. There was one bad contact in the 80 on the list and it crashed.
Anyway, I have attached it below with all but one photo removed to make it fit mini2 attachment rules.

We're coming in Friday night and (pay attention, Steve) will have a nasty-tempered German Shepard name Rumsfeld watching-out for our car during the night!

Some people never learn their lessons. Never, ever give information like this out to bottom feeders. FYI, I keep doggie biscuits and Greenies w/ me at all times. If need be I can procure a huge steak bone at a moments notice.
Besides, you don't have to worry as you are an initiate. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and not accepting it would be fatally stupid) will be lead the covert tagging of our mark on Friday evening or early Saturday. Make sure Carol understands that you'll have to disappear for an hour or so in the wee hours. I'll bring the face-black.
