Great cars, great food and (better still) great company.

What a great last run of the MINI year.

Thanks, all!

It was great to see such an awesome group today! Both the run and the meet up at Dave's. We got a few new recruits from it (as well as new MINIs - Armen and Richard). It is always nice to chat with all you too!

Good pics Brian and Ian! Mine will be posted tomorrow sometime.

Thanks everyone for taking the day to come and eat!

Looks like I missed a good run today.. I was just motoring on I-84 west near Waterbury... and suddenly a MINI appears behind me... After getting flashed from behind I noticed the aux lights were familiar yet a rare style... and as we soon passed under the streetlamps, I was now sure that i saw the checkerboard roof graphic...... it was the one and only CHEQMATE!! :P

Before I konk out for the day... just wanted to say thanks to Sheena for choosing such an awesome motoring day (in December!) for this rally & meet (must be making up for that rainy apple-picking meet a few months back ...), and thanks to Ian for picking up the grand tab.

Indeed, it seems like I made this trip to Boston to eat. After departing from Famous Dave's, I headed to Cambridge to visit my cousin. I rescued him from insipid college dining-hall food and we went out for an early dinner. Oh I'm quite full...

Great meeting and seeing everyone today. I'll look through everyone's pics and sort through mine soon!

If MOTORING and eating is your thing, you all should think about heading south... for a PHILLY cheesesteak.

Likewise... I saw a MINI up ahead with the telltale shiny JCW muffler cans... it was the one and only CHLL.PL Nice impromptu rally there pal!

There's something about random sightings on I-84... a couple of years back, returning from a ski trip, I also caught up with another MINI, an EB/W MCS with the telltale DUCK on its antenna. It was the one and only MXMINI.

I just wanted to add that I really liked the drive through Boston. The traffic was tough, and maybe it was just the pure unadulterated geekery of coordinating 10 cars via radio, but it felt a little like a re-enactment of the Italian Job chase scene. Although without the explosions or helicopters (note to self: work on that for the next run).

This may be the last chance I get to drive Scrat for the remainder of the year. If I'm lucky, I'll see a few MINIs in the fatherland.

Sorry to have missed this!!!! It was the 17th of December and we still didn't have a tree to decorate - not something that SWMBO would tolerate much longer I'm afraid... I am eagerly awating the next event and I'll certainy try no to miss it.

I'm still thinking about putting something on up here in Maine in March - stay tuned.

OMG, did you (Sheena) actually eat everything on your plate in front of you???? (Re that photo of you with the huge plate of ribs, etc) I would have died from a bursted stomach!

We'll have to come to the next BBQ--hubby loves barbies!

That wasn't a plate, it was the lid of a garbage can. No kidding!

I think it is pretty innovative to have a garbage can lid for a plate... And we did eat MOST of the food too!
