R56 unveilings in February – 2/16/07

If my intestines ever decide to start acting in a normal way, we'll be there. Looking forward to meeting "Lucky" What size are the tires? I have some old Saab snow tires and some usable traction T/A's kicking around (all 16 inch I think)

I bailed on the up north thing,I had to decide between Florida next week or up north.I'll be there about 6 ish.

Was pleasantly surprised by how nice the R56 looked. Couple of points: Center stack is not quite as ridiculous as it looks in pictures. Hated the awful fit of the black trim on the rear bumper of the S. The cooper looked much better back there. The exhaust tips look much nicer than our beercans, especially the S dual center. The new seats are way way nicer. I wish I had those.

Finally, is it just me or does the bonnet look like it is permanently ajar? It just doesn't look closed with that huge gap over the wheel arch. Ewwwww.
