R56 unveilings in February – 2/16/07 - MINI2

I talked to Hrach at MoP yesterday and he told me they were planning on doing a little open house (with test-drives) on the 16th at Centennial (where the "Get Into It" event was held). The time's 6p to 10p. I'd like to confirm this info because I'm completely unreliable and I haven't seen this anywhere else yet.

I believe Herb Chambers is having a shindig at F1 Boston on the 18th.

Are there any other R56 pah-tays planned? Who's going to which? I am hoping to take one for a test drive, if just to reaffirm my commitment to Scrat.

I know Towne in Buffalo NY is planning something, no details yet, but will keep you posted when I know.

Confirmed at last night's Cape Cod MINIs club meeting (complete with 500 rubber duckies, beer, wine, and 5* food) that H.C. MINI is doing the 2007 MINI unveiling at F1 Boston on Feb. 18 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Yes! MoP will be having our Introduction Party on Friday Feb. 16th to meet the new 3rd generation MINIs. It will be held at our BMW facility and Corporate Offices at 7 Centennial Drive to allow for more space.
This is the location where we held our "Octoberfast" Autocross. Invitations via USPS and email will be sent out shortly to all of our customers, but if for any reason you don't get one, or are on someone else's customer list, everyone is welcome.
We will have a great caterer there as usual to provide food & drink, probably some musical entertainment, door prizes, and if weather permits, a chance to not only see the R56, but drive it as well.
We look forward to seeing all of you there.

Great to hear. Will the events be going late into the evening? Most will be at work, then that horrible 128N traffic...

Our event will last until 10:00PM-plenty of time to get there! The Centennial Drive Facility is quite easy to get to from 128. If you need directions, just call or email me.
The food alone is usually worth the trip.

We just finished a special compilation of the the MINI related chase scenes from both the 1969 original and 2003 Italian Job Movies, and will be showing it at our Launch Party. It runs over 30 minutes, and will be shown on a continous loop on big screen, so everyone will get a chance to see it! Don't miss this! More fun to follow...
