If anyone is keeping a list, I'm a volunteer for staying down on the flatland. (Inner ear problems aren't getting any better...)

The End of The world...

I will be attending MOT this year!

Everyone send their best thoughts that the lords of registration look favorably on my postmark!

Too Late???

I know it is down to the wire, but I thought registration didn't close until April 29th. I was getting ready to ExpressMail the registration to get in on time, but I just noticed something. The paragraph on the registration sheet where I sign and date says that it must be postmarked by April 22nd. I didn't procrastinate, things just now worked out that I can attend. I understand that I have to "wait list" to see if any spots open up for the Auto Road, but if it is too late to register for anything that's different. Can anyone clarify this?
Thanks,
B

The close date was moved ahead by one week, so it should have read April 29th. So, as long as your registration is postmarked on or before midnight April 29th, you'll be all set! But remember... April 29th is a Sunday, so best to get it in ASAP.

The Auto Road is the only thing you'll miss by registering "late".

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Just to clarify again, can I send it regular mail on Friday because it just has to be postmarked before Sunday, you don't have to receive it by Sunday? Either way, it's getting mailed out on Friday, I just want to know if I need to ExpressMail. I really am not trying to put this off until the last possible minute, it's just that Friday is when I find out for sure that I can or can't go.
Thanks again,
B

Postmarked by Friday will work. Can't guarantee a spot in the drive to the top though...there were only 4 available two days ago...and I imagine Ian is flooded with registrations this week!

Right! Still got good Asian snacks? AND, bring a spare battery this time for your thumpers. I think Ian and Jayson should have and ICE battle in the Loon lot.

Pocky

Yes, mktng.girl, I'm very sorry for the registration confusion - my fault; I altered the date at the top of page 2 but not at the bottom of page 1!

OK, I've fixed it!

Steve,
I think I might win an ICE battle against Jayson, he plans to follow your path

I sold/gave up the Snack Company It started to take too much time from my real work and I was only breaking even with it! I can still bring pocky for people though!

And more bad news:

The Red S had a BAD water leak (over 1 inch on the drivers side) a few weeks ago. I removed all the ICE stuff and it's sitting here in my office. Since Karen is looking at trading the Red S in in July I've decided to leave it all out (Nothing was harmed thankfully)

the good news:

I should be purchasing my new 07's in the next few weeks. I'll get started on the next killer setup ASAP!

Pocky is available in Stop & Shop..! (Sorry Jayson!)
I saw it for the first time the other day and thought of you. It's sold as a Lu brand over here. They are also selling TUC crackers (remember those Ian) on which they splash a big "New" banner and yet babble away on the back of the pack about the history of the cracker.
I can only assume Lu has been on a spending spree buying up snacks and crackers around the world, but at least we can enjoy them here now.

(sorry for the sidetracking..!)

An ICE battle is in fact officially scheduled, as ICE will be one of the categories in the loon lot car show.

Just in..................frustrated and enfeebled by his repeated failures to get aerial shots of the event, Mr. Wardell has now gone to extreme measures hoping that this vehicle will gallantly carry his camera. Although a bit self-aggrandizing, if successful, we can forgive him his slight egocentric approach.

Sweet! Tell me more. Will each ICE Battle Contestant get a 3-5 minute song to play? Will the audience get to choose the winner based on how high the applause-O-meter registers?
If so, you should provide the musical choice and they all should play the same piece on the same CD provided by you. Whadda u think?

I agree with the same song CD idea. But all the other details should be discussed in the ghostown known as the MOT car show topic.
