When 95% of everything is spam, the chance of losing the few good messages goes up - spam filtering is simply becoming too aggressive now

Sadly email is quickly becoming the most unreliable form of communication now because spam is winning the battle, and the industry refuses to reengineer the [complete lack of] technology behind email. An alternative would be to post updates in the forums, and on the website, which I believe they are...but you have to look.

You're right Josh ... but I'll admit that - till Petes recent post - we didn't put the observatory tour online, because it's heavily over-subscribed anyway!

Not to beat a dead horse, but I'm pretty sure I was subscribed to The List in the past as I received announcements earlier this year and also for last year's MOT. Not a problem though - poop happens. The Welcome message arrived - thank you for checking and for (re?)adding my name. - dl

Sometimes the mail system gets "broken" by anti-spam measures - an email address will be automatically dropped if there's too many problems trying to send to it. Maybe that happened.

GMail runs a spam filter before depositing messages into the Inbox. No MOT mail in among the restore hair loss (how did they know?) and improve my manhood messages though. As mentioned above my name seemed to have fallen off of The List. Ah well. I had been wondering why I hadn't received any 'official' MOT messages for a while.

OH! Scarry, blurry photo! Pat, you're welcome on the tour whenever you're ready! There will be no lack of volunteers to ensure you get up the turret if you're willing. Peace, everyone, things will work out just fine. (I can say that because I'm in Rome, the home of more MINIs and Smart cars and other teeny tiny vehicles than I can count, and you can't possibly stone me from the New World.) ![]() ![]()

| I am looking for a volunteer or two staying at the Top Notch and Royalty Inn to help out as greeters - No experience needed - Just the ability to say "Hi" and recognize MINIs!
