Twas no trouble at all! And though I'm not going, and though I love lending a hand, I really enjoy travelling around to see my friends

I followed John, and he was on his way to get ice cream. I did have my radio too, but I was talking to myself. Ice cream next time, okay.

Thanks to all for coming over and especially for helping us get the last of the winter cover out of the pool..! We couldn't have done it without you.

Religion is like a huge dog. If it's yours it's very friendly and comforting, but it scares the heck out of everyone else.

Wish I could have been there but I had a very busy weekend. I'm amazed at the speed! I wonder what the reaction of the post office will be when you back that pickup up to the mail slot.

They're already not in the truck ... we sorted the flat rates and the "less than 1lb" ones and did their postage online - so those are just delivered to PO with no processing needed their end.
That just leaves 120 or so ...

As MOT creeps ever closer just a reminder from someone I think of everytime I duck - That is that MOT is a big river (and it has overflowed its banks each year) that you can just dip your toes in or dive in full immersion!
We have a BBQ, a moose hunt, some scenic drives with lunch stops, a trivia contest, a photo hunt, the boot sale, MOT hats and auto badges, raffles, and door prizes (No - that is NOT a complimentary parking lot scratch). Do as much or as little of this as you want, but PLEASE say "Hi" to everybody. I have met some of the most amazing people at MOT who took the time to introduce themselves. And for those like me who can't remember names - this year you will have a nifty lanyard with a name badge to help, so wear them proudly. So to the newbies- Don't be shy! And to the experienced - Adopt a Newbie!

We have also firmed up the post MOT buffet menu with Scott from the Town & Country! After a stunning day of driving you can look forward to:
Nut Crusted Chicken Bites with Honey Mustard Sauce.
Spinach and Artichoke Bake in Puff Pastry.
French Bread Baguettes with Baked Ham & Boursin Cheese
Shrimp & Oriental Vegetable Spring Rolls with Sweet & Sour Sauce.
Down East Mini Lobster Cakes
Medley of Summer Salads

All of which goes well with beer (in my opinion) and Rock & Roll, which will be provided by the house band "Take 5" and Country Rock by the "Tammy Jackson Band. "

The cost for the buffet is $12 and we will have wrist bands for sale throughout the day.
Sorry, Jeff - no Groat Clusters... But, boy am I hungry! Let's Eat!
