I have a question for all those that read this thread:

What type of non-driving MINI/non-MINI events would you like to see happen that you would either watch or participate in??

I am gathering input to help come to a decision...

How about a softball game? A hike? Pin the pickle on the MINI owner?

I've tried to get interest in a hike in past years. I still think it's a good idea, but maybe on Sunday. SOmething like Arethusa Falls -- about 2 hrs. round trip.

If we got a quick start from Loon and skipped the drive, we could do it Saturday, maybe...

Cool, that trail sounds pretty good: Frankenstein Cliff - Arethusa Falls

Although, I'd vote for Sunday. Not sure how I'd feel about skipping the drive Sat.

The loop with Frankenstein Cliffs is very nice. For a shorter hike, up and back to Arethusa Falls is still well worth it.

The falls are great - Pam and I went last year on our own with your recommendation, Richard:

Nice hike in - Better hike out

Last year we were planning to hit the flume gorge or lost caves or (what is the other one), before my plans changed to waiting for a tow truck for hours in sweltering heat. I might give that another try on mot sunday.

I still like the arrive-earlier loon concours is a good idea too, weather permitting.

And I think the beer swap details need to be worked out with T&C so we dont have the hostility we had last year during trivia. Also perhaps offer trivia both nights somehow? I'm sure some people look for alternatives to hanging out in a loud, dark, packed, smokey bar (not me!). Of course nothing will match the vocal alternative that we had in 04.
