WOW! These are all wonderful donations. Since this is my first MOT, could someone explain how people win these fun and exciting prizes? (aside from the raffles, which are quite self-explanatory - already ordered my tickets)
Thanks,
B

You are given some tickets to bid on most of the items. Some are included in your registration packet, and you can buy (donate) more tickets. If you really want something, you can put all your tickets in one basket, or perhaps spread them to others that are less in demand for a greater chance of winning. During dinner the buckets are collected, tickets are pulled, and the winner gets to go up in front of everyone. Some items are combined or thrown in with others, others like the $25 dealership raffles are done separately. It's a great way to win some mini prizes, for mini businesses to get their names publicized, and all proceeds go to charity.

New Donation

Every year Louis and I like to donate something to the cause and this year is no different. But because it's the 5th year I decided to donate something different. Since moving to NH I've really become something of an dabbler in painting. I like to paint things in a realistic manner (I've done a poison dart frog, baby sea turtle, koi fish, male panther chameleon and a cat and mouse). I sat down one day and painted what we will be donating to MOT 2007 (pictured below). The second picture is one of the prize and my toughest art critic, Willow. So for your consideration I give you MINI on the Track.

Dan McDonald's Mom, Amanda Robertson will be donating a cache of Dan's MINI collectibles.
I can attest that Dan's collection of MINI/mini stuff goes well beyond what you can imagine. She thinks there will be 6-8 pieces for MOT and the grouping will be offered as one prize. I'm not exactly sure what items they are yet but I'm sure they will be special.

Why? There's no die cast Mazdas in the group.

Sounds like there will be
2- 1:43 die casts
1- Franklin Mint 1967 Morris
2- MCS Race Series
2- Morris Minors (an MK-1 and Rally car)
1- Virago 2000 gold collection
1- Monster Garage motorized Snowmobile MINI

Without Annette there to thwart my winning plan I may get lucky!
