MOT 2007 Donation Thread

If you have read about the huge success of last year's event you know that we have quite the hill to climb at this year's event. Here is a call to all to help soliciate donations for MOT 2007!!

If you are interested in helping to coordinate donations from your "neck of the woods" and/or would like to help in the presentation and coordination of the donations at the actual event please email me at:

donations@MINIsOnTop.com

Of course if you are a vendor or just a MINIac and would like to donate something or some service to the event please email me at the address listed above.

Let's make this the best year yet for our chosen charity. Let's have even more fun doing it and always remember - Let's Motor!

Mike, I have submitted a formal request for a donation from the company I work for. Last year the former owners donated $250 , I guess now we'll see what kind of company the new owners are...................( I'm not going to put their name down as I recently found out that they use some kind of generic web search which automatically notifies them every time the company name appears anywhere on the internet)

out of my mind.........back in five minutes.

And Let's not forget Herb Chambers MINI of Boston has stepped up for the third year in a row with a two year lease on a 2007 MINI Cooper in MOT's color scheme - Yellow/Black - for a raffle with 100% of the proceeds to benefit this year's charity - Rosie's Place.
Go Herb!
Check out the details:

BTW- A big shout out to those who included a seperate donation to Rosie's Place with their MOT registration - Proves that those who drive the smallest cars have the biggest heart

Mike,
Keep up the good work I've done this before and know it's not easy. Just remember it's OK to prostitute your dignity when digging for donations. It works!
Did you try any of the Driving Schools/HPDE's yet?

MINI of Peabody has stepped up for Rosie's Place with a raffle of trip to see the birthplace of our favorite car. The winner gets round trip airfare for two from Boston to London, three nights in a London hotel with tickets to a West End show. If that's not enough the encore is a limo ride to Oxford for your tour of the MINI factory!
Thanks to Paul Taylor and the crew of MINI of Peabody for this great prize
Tickets will be the same as the generous Herb Chambers MINI of Boston 2 year lease - $25 each with a limit of 250. Chances are great for both so buy 'em up and support Rosie's Place and tell your friends too because thse two raffles are not limited to just those attending MOT (though it will be more fun for me to watch your reaction under the tent when I call your name!)

That is so cool. Thanks to Paul and the rest of the MoP crowd for a very creative prize.

So let's see, if you win both, could you go to Oxford and see the HC Prize being built?

No ... the HC MINI Cooper raffle prize is not only already built, it's also already in stock at HC MINI of Boston!

But maybe you could go to Oxford and see my next MINI being built instead - of course, I'd have to order one first, but if it helps sell more raffle tickets ...
