Registration #11 received today. Only 4 more spot left! Once all the teams are set then I will send out a mass e-mail with all the juicy details of the scavenger hunt.
Remember if there is more than one MINI on your team I need to get a registration form from each driver. The fee is team based so it would be only $20 per team but you can only have one camera per team.
The photo scavenger hunt sounds terrific - a great way to spend the time between Loon & Mt. Washington. I'd love to participate, but don't know enough other MINI folks to build a team. I have a MINI & walkie talkies, but no camera. Are there any folks looking for a driver or any teams looking for another team member? I am flexible on if I drive or ride-along with others. Regardless, I'll see you all at Loon soon. - Sarah
I recieved a questions as to whether people could join already exisiting teams.
When we first concieved this photo scavenger hunt we really didn't have any ideas about how many on a team. But we can't have 10 people piled into a MINi doing the hunt, it's just not safe. Some people are banding together MINIs and combining efforts. This is all within the scope of the rules. Just make sure there is only one camera. Now that registration has closed there may still be people out there that want to get involved. So the question? Can we add people to our team? We say that as long as you follow the rules (i.e. only one camera and only 4 people per team (2 in a GP)) it's all good. So if any teams that have only 2 people want to add another 2 people you can do it.
The only thing that needs to happen is this. If they are going to be riding with you (i.e. as additional passengers) please let me know who they are. If they are going to be driving another MINI i need to have a registration form from them. Just put the team name in the space that the team name on the form.
I hope this helps to get all the people that want to join in the fun.
Things are shaping up quite nicely. We did a recon a couple of weeks ago to make sure our clues were viable. it was a lot of fun driving around and looking for things that could fit the clue.
We just sent out an update to everyone. If you did not receive it please let me know, it probably means I have an incorrect e-mail. To those who have multiple people on your team please forward to the others on your team. It's getting close!
The trophies arrived last week! Yes, that's right there are trophies! Also the National Motorist Association has also contributed T-Shirts, Books, CDs and Travel Mugs So a big thank you to Ivan and the NMA!
