MINIs On Top 2007 Photo Scavenger Hunt

Announcing the MINIs On Top 2007 Photo Scavenger Hunt. This year as an alternative to the drives there will be a Photo Scavenger Hunt. The scavenger hunt is a traditional photo scavenger hunt. Participants will get a list of clues at the Loon Lot and will have until 3:00 to get their photos back to Louis and I at The Town & Country Motel in Gorham, NH (look for the Photo Scavenger Hunt tent).

Some guidleines:
1) This is a team event. Teams must be comprised of at least 2 people but no more than 4 (2 in a GP).
2) Due to costs participants will provide their own cameras. We ask that it is a digital camera and we will download the photos onto a computer. Choose 1 camera to use among your team.
3) Entrance fee will be $20 per team. The grand prize is 1/2 of all the entrance fees collected for the Scavenger Hunt. The other half will be donated to the MOT charity Rosie's Place.
4) There is a limit of 15 teams.
5) There will be a registration form that will need to be mailed in advance. Registration form is available for downloading at Registration Form and Rules.

Hmm, I haven't done this before, and I'm not known for my camera skills, but if anyone needs a partner for this I'm willing to play along.

Luckily camera skills are not a pre-requisite a good attitude and willingness to have fun are.

I will update the first posts with interested people and teams that have formed. I will also e-mail each of you once your registration is received.

So, do you envision the team members all being in the same car? Or will it work out to "walkie-talkie" it along the way to coordinate photo stops?

We hadn't envisioned much of how people pile into the cars. We originally had thought about not having a cap to the number of people on a team but thought it would be easier with a more structured team number. I think that I had a grand vision that the team would all ride together but I'm not sure if that is feesible with the distance from the Town & Country to the Loon Lot.

If the teams want to ride together during the hunt then I would recommend getting together before the Loon gathering and riding in one car unless you want to double back to get other team members cars (would it be O.K. to leave them at Loon for a couple of hours). If they want to caravan then make sure that everyone has a radio.
