Hi Everyone,

Thank you for you wonderful wishes and pleas keep us in your prayers. I just wanted update everyone that Pat is still in stable condition and that he is conscious. He will be having surgery on Friday which will stabilize his neck.

Ang - Really, really shocked & sorry to hear this - but, as others have said - if anybody can pull through something like this, it's Pat. He's always been able to radiate fun for at least a mile in any direction, so we all hope he can put that energy into getting better fast. I'll keep my eyes peeled & my radio on Ch 7 in anticipation.

So, I'm thinking.........
What has that wonderful clown done now? You know construction guys...they are always looking for a winter break. But cripes! This trick has all the others beat, hands down. I mean the very thought of Pat getting hit in the head isn't hard to imagine but then to hear that it really really hurt him....just can't see that at all.

And then there is that inevitable flood of images.....Pat in a hospital johnny, Pat with IVs other than a good beer feed, Pat with nurses bending over him, and the pinch reflex temporarily stymied.....Yikes!

Ah, Ang, this one of his escapades sure can get us all riled up, huh? But those of us who know him and luv him like a brother (a baby brother in my case) are fully certain that he will soon get thrown out of the hospital for some bizarre prank. And those of us who know you and love you are fully certain that you'll understand that it's the power of all our prayers from all over the world combined with his celtic stubborn iron cranium and his eagerness to return to 'normalcy' that will prevail.
