Thinking of going to see Snow Patrol too, but they're playing Aggannis and the acoustics in there are pretty bad.

Although it will make for a long day, I wanted to take my daughter to this show for her 15th birthday & we're both Gomez & MINI fans. Now all I have to do is pray for decent weather 'cause I'm still holding out on snow tires 'till next year.

So, two chances to see Gomez this coming week. Tickets *are* still available at the Avalon, at a whopping $31.50 including Ticket*******'s "convenience fee" ($25 without the fee). Pearl St.'s tickets are a slightly less whopping $20 in advance/$23 at the door. The show starts at 8pm on the 6th, and 8:30pm on the 11th. My personal preference is to go on Tuesday (the 6th), especially since it's a 2 hour drive to Northampton from Nashua. I'm not trying to steal Sideways' thunder, but there's enough interest here that I think it'd be fun to have a mini MINI gathering and go to the show. if more folks wanted to go on Sunday, I'd be inclined to make the drive allllll the way out there on a school night (as opposed to driving alllll the way into Boston on a school night).
