Track Day is Official

It's now official. Friday, September 21, The Lyon Waugh Group will have the NHIS track and facilities for the day. Certain events will be limited space, first to register only, others will be open. There will be something for everyone. All are limited to MoP or Lyon Waugh customers only. Details are available on the HMS Motorsports site, or via the email that we will send our customers.. Our customers will receive an invitation, via email, so keep your eye out today and tomorrow.
This will be big,as it will include Lambo and BMW customers as well.

Hope to see you there!
Paul T.

So will demo M6's and Lambos be available for track test drives too?

You can get a ride with a pro, but can't drive.

So, for the Lyon-Waugh thingy... if you gor in for the $190 option, how many track sessions do you get? 4 like a normal BMWCCA HPDE event? If so, I'm interested. Although it sounds like the run groups will be by manufacturer, not driver experience.

I plan to sign up GPMINI ... but I'm not sure if I'll be brave enough to take her on the track ... so I might need a stand-in driver!

We really need a new thread for the Lyon-Waugh event at NHIS...

Has anyone gotten more information on the $190 "on track" part of the event? I sent an email off, but haven't gotten a response. I want to know how many on-track session you get for that $190, and if the run groups are going to be split up by driver experience or car manufacturer.

Ditto on the no-response-so-far.
Maybe they don't know yet! Wait to see how popular it is, then figure how many sessions each person can get?
Or maybe they're talking to Lambo and Porsche owners, before working down to BMW and finally MINI owners

I can be added to the no response list. I sent out an e-mail and have heard nothing back. I think that Ian's summary is spot on. The response list probably goes Lambo owners, BMW owners, and then finally down to the MINI owners. I didn't know that Lyon/Waugh had a Porsche franchise? After missing out on the driving school I am looking forward to this.

Just heard some info, that there's high interest in the event ... I'm probably going to back out of putting GPMINI on the track - I'd hate to prevent someone else having that chance, then decide I wasn't ready to do it myself either!
I do plan to be at NHIS that day anyway - there's other stuff that can keep us entertained

I guess they like you better than me. After all, I'm not even on the MoP email list. I'm not going to give them $190 until I know what I'm paying for.
