Hey you all, I hope you have a great day! I wanted to go to this one, but we are stuck with a convention to go to in Sturbridge! When is the next Minis Only Track Day?

The MoP caterer is planning to feed lunch to 50 people. We seem to have about 23 drivers plus 8 instructors signed up, so there *should* be leftovers, especially for MINI enthusiasts / customers such as you Pete

In a worst case scenario you can also head over to the NHIS cafeteria in the infield and score some chow there. You should do that anyway just to watch the SCCA racers for a while!

P.S. I suggest bringing 'yer cheesy poofs, regardless. They have many uses. Even If they don't get eaten, we can stack them up and use them to replace any orange traffic cones that get crushed.

Dark Silver Unable to attend

It is with great regrets that I will be unable to attend Sundays Driving school. My MINI went into the body shop on Wednesday for some very minor rear bumper damage and to have a MINI FINI sport link installed. I received a call on Friday from the owner that my car won't be ready until Monday morning. They are closed all weekend. I am so disappointed, I was really looking forward to the school. Thanks to Ian and Richard. Will definitely hit the next one.

Cleaned Out

Folks,

The last thing you want to hear while practicing accident avoidance breaking or reacting to under/oversteer is something rattling around the back of your MINI.

Everything loose inside your MINI will have to come out. Plan to leave whatever you absolutely won't need while driving to/from the track at home. Bring a plastic tub with cover or another container to hold whatever you do leave in the car while at the event.

I haven't had a problem with video camera affixed to the vehicle. But loose items in your glove box, door pockets and the boot will have to come out.

Return to Hudson Bay 2010 (and 2011) . . . not

Is anyone bringing a torque wrench in their track box?

I just put on the other wheels and will want to re-torque the bolts upon arrival. I have an old beam-type wrench and will bring it if no one else is bringing one.

I assume the long-pants/long-shirts/no-poly rule is just for HPDE and not ADSS?
