It would be of no interest to anyone else, so I can head off there by myself (or get someone to take me there, I guess, as my car will be at MoP). But, the address is 410 Dunstable Road. Keep going north from the Butterfly Place until you hit the light at Flint's Corner (there wasn't a light there until I was in high school - there's wasn't really a "Flint's Corner" (strip mall) there for many many years) and turn left. Third house on the left (unless things have changed even more than I thought )
See... I told you you'll get to here stuff like that a lot.
Most of the subdevelopments / houses around there (Westford / Tyngsboro) have been built in old sand and gravel pits. When I was a kid, they were just great big expanses of sand, now they're expensive houses. We used to ride our bikes around in the sand pits, always in fear that we'd be caught. I don't think anyone ever was, and I don't think anyone really cared. But, when you're a kid...
I'm afraid I can't make the early part of the run, or the butterfly stop, but any idea what time the lunch stop is? I may try to catch a quick hello then.
Richard, we were going to go to lunch around noon and then go to the Butterfly Place after that, around 1ish. Not sure when you are free, but we'll be around the Butterfly place by 2pm.
Grr! Wish I had paid attention to this, sounds like fun Already made plans this afternoon. Depending on their arrival, maybe we can make it to the Butterfly place.... Let's see what Google has to say about this.
It was great to finally meet some of the people on the board. What a day it turned out be, we had a great time. Here's a link to some of the pics from yesterday. Thanx Sheena for putting together a great run!
Thanks everyone for coming! I'm glad the weather cooperated. It was great to meet new faces too! Hope to see everyone again soon... I will have pictures up shortly.
Thanks again sheena for another successful mini run. I haven't even so much as looked at my photos, but I'm sure I got some good butterfly shots. Perhaps I should merge mine with brian's as my camera was off till he left.
