Let me know if you have expressed a desire for one and your name is not listed above.
We have 15 of 25 spoken for already. If you want one, please reserve asap. As of next Thursday night, any remaining ones will be divided as evenly as possible and be reserved for ""day of" sale at both the YC and A51 locations.

As you know by now, the merged YC/A51 caravan will depart from Area 51 for Gorham at 2:00 pm. Instead of one large caravan, we have put together 4 different routes for separate mini-caravans to follow:
Click on the route names above to see PDF versions of the route maps and driving directions. More information about each route can be found at the YC/A51 web site on THIS page.
Please review each of these four routes and decide which one you would be interested in taking. Make sure you print-out the PDF so that you have the information with you in your MINI. The mini-caravans will depart in Route order starting at 2:00.
Leaders for the first three routes are as follows:
Well, the Kanc/Bear Notch Route comes to mind when I think "spirited".
However, an overriding concern on Friday will be the care needed for the traffic conditions that weekend. Remember that it is the last weekend of Bike Week and, traditionally, the roads are packed with folks going to and from the Laconia area. We have had an outstanding safety record over the last four years (the odd moose and porcupine notwithstanding) and I'd hate to see any of us take risks during the fifth year.
That being said, it will be up to the Route Leader to set the pace and expectations for their route. I will be leading the direct route and we will be traveling at a brisk but safe pace.

We'll take the Golden Route and Anyone from the Seacoast??
We'd like to take Golden Pond Route 3. Also, anyone from the Seacoast that wants to meet up at Hannaford in Northwood (Rte 4) for a mini MINI carrivan to A51 let us know!!
I think I am up for motoring on the third route as well. Not sure which MINI is coming with me for the weekend yet. Could be designated today. I look forward to my first MOT. Cheers,
The Kanc/Bear Notch Route will follow similar guidelines. While it won't necessarily be a "Sunday drive", it will be at a pace that is safe and comfortable for all involved.
If anyone hasn't noticed yet, Theo has posted some nifty route directions & map on the Yankee Candle site for the trip north to A51 from the Yankee Candle lot. Don't forget to print them off & bring them along! http://www.minisontop.com/YC-A51/PDF...0Area%2051.pdf
