MINI of Peabody will be holding our 3rd annual Spring Rally on Sunday May 20th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you attended last years event, you know what a blast it was, and we look forward to seeing you all. It will be held rain or shine ( Last year we had a tremndous turnout despite horrendous wheather) We will gather here at MoP to socialize and enjoy each other's cars and stories, and shortly thereafter embark on a scenic run of the Cape Ann shorleine, with stops to pick up a playing card. The entrant with the best hand (s) at the end will win a nice door prize. This is an event which doesn't require advanced drinving skills and provides fun for all. and Afterwards, we will have our sumptuous catered Barbeque. This event is free to all MoP customers, and we look forward to seeing you there Please contact Kristen. Alley, or me at MoP if you please plan on attending.
Let's Motor!

I'm there too but with a kicking hang over.
Let's see, Drive and party with fellow Motorers on the Cape Saturday, wake up Sunday feeling like you know what at 6 a.m. to leave by 7 to get to MOP for 9 all while main lining Kona coffee. Oy vey.
Or, don't drink much Saturday night but still go to sleep too late, get up at 7, leave Cape by 7:30 a.m. and speed like I usually do to be in Peabody by 9 a.m. Much better idea. Excluding traffic stops and police chases it will work out just fine.

Steve;
Didn't mean to step on your event- the only day we could schedule this with Mother's Day, Memorial Day, and Caterers was the 20th. Thanks for adjusting your scehdule to fit. Hrach is planning on attending your gathering. If we can do anything else to assist in yours, let us know-

That's a really a very nice thing to say....but Steve needs his cage rattled a bit now and then. If it wasn't you, someone else would have deftly stepped-in to make him squirm a little bit! You know, half the sport of angling is letting the fish fight you on the hook!
Just don't leave your car out during the rally!

Paul, no worries. It will make for an even more memorable MINI weekend.
Re: ASSIST: OK! Let's see....cash is always good and we accept large bills; Swag...I like that too...anything MINI related will do; how about a Lambo? See if the big boss will pony up a Gallardo Spyder although I suppose I could wait for the Roadster.I like mine yellow...or black, I think that would be a good pace car for future MINI rallies. That's the short list
Well said, Theo! I think I know a joke about the sport of angling but it's naughty and involves a trouser trout

I don't know about this setting off at 7am thing ... from memory the "9am" start isn't when everything actually happens ... think I'd prefer a bit of a lay-in and get to MoP later, even if all the coffee has been drunk

We are putting plastic covers on the mattress. That helped last time.
Sure! I have some take out coffee cups w/ covers. Let's see at $8- per cup plus 15%....= gas money for the MOP run I'll make instant Postum and charge for doubleyuppiecoffeecafecapuccinodelights.

So historically they start at x:00 a.m. and really don't get it going until x:00 plus 1 hour a.m.? That's about right for most gatherings. I always preferred to do the "Gather at 10 a.m. for meet and greet with departure at 11 a.m." scheme. It's more realistic.

Yeah I'd love to know a more accurate (Well, just later) time that we need to be there, due to the mandatory late night I will have before. And that's after a long day dealing with the cod. Of course I can show up any time if I don't want to participate I guess.
