Rick, I would consider it an honor and a priviledge to carry on this project. Any idea what the family has planned for this fabulous car? I had one of these when I was 18 : ![]() MORRIS TRAVELLER GALLERY out of my mind.........back in five minutes. Last edited by holdenontoit; Apr 24th, 2007 at 10:56 AM.

Have to stand corrected...The woody may be up for sale. The family really needs some time to sort things out. Good news is that Dan's family will be be bringing Dan's GOMINI to Mt. Washington and they'll all be there again. It was a tearful service today, but in the end all of Dan's family was there for us in the same way he would have been.

Thank you Rick for the update; I'm sorry to not have been able to make both days - but pleased that some of our close-knit group could stand in for all of us that couldn't be there.

I can't tell you, Beth and Louis, how impressed I was that you did what you did on Sunday and then, Bethie, did it again yesterday. Makes me proud to be your pal. Lawdy, Lawdy, the Cross I bear.

It was good to see a turnout for Dan. He must have appreciated it very much seeing us from afar. I feel for his mother to lose her child. I don't mean to go off-topic, but there was a big write-up about Daniel Li who also died suddenly in the Globe on Sunday April 22. It was mentioned that he was an avid Mini Cooper fan who went to MOT and recently took his children to the R56 opening day at Gillette. My husband remembers him. I guess he was not well known in the Mini community to warrantee any mention.

Becca, I went to HC MINI Saturday specifically to deliver a few MOT shirts which they were giving to Davids family. I know a few MINI2ers knew him (Gavin / GadgetGav specifically) - unfortunately I don't think I ever met him and I have no pictures of him. I'm told that he and his family were planning to attend MOT (again) - they haven't contacted me but of course just like Dans family we'd support them any way we can if they wish to join us all in June. It was a very sad week, with two local MINI deaths, and Harvey/Terrys repeat flooding.
