OK, still learning to use this forum but to respond, yellowminiy, I thought of your comment about "wacky but generally harmless" immediately!
Sheenabea, that's awsome about your boyfriend! My fiance is a Saab guy but he's also on a MINI board or two because he's a PUNK and has to have everything that I do! Actually, he just loves the car. Fortunately for me, he's a big car guy and will mod mine like carzy as soon as it's no longer under warranty! Speaking of which, are there any mod friendly dealers up there??

I work steps from bedford. As far as a commute goes, traffic is very bad coming from the northwest. You'll go against the worst traffic if you live south down 95/128. Or, you can live close to boston in somerville or cambridge and zip out Rt. 2 at high speeds even in rush hr. West of 128/95 out rt 2 should also be good but gets increasingly rural. And then there is out Rt. 3 towards nashua which has its traffic days but many people do it. But if you're commuting this direction, anything around the "North Shore" will be bad.
