Yeah, back in the day Freierman was just too hard to spell, and ethnic charm didn't carry as much charm. To make matters worse (better?) his first name wasn't really Howard. It started with "H" and would most typically be found paired with "Sapien" or "Sexual". No kidding. His crazy Russian parents wanted him to be a man. I threatened to name my son after him, but cooler heads prevailed (sort of -- "Adam" does, after all, mean the same thing ).Your cut is on the way. Thanks for asking. ![]()

So he was the original "Boy named Sue" “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” - Alexis de Tocqueville Eric the Red

So he became a MANdolin player??? Oh why have you kept this from us for so long? It explains so much. “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” - Alexis de Tocqueville Eric the Red

Kinda of like the story of the Hispanic mother who thought the nurses were so impressed with newborn baby girl that they named her. Yup - when they brought the baby out to the mother she noticed on the band her said "Female" (rhymes with tamale). “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” - Alexis de Tocqueville Eric the Red

Well, flying with Mike is one way to get get to the great beyond... Flying anywhere in particular? On Mother's Day when I was 12 or 14 (no, not really all that long ago for most of you) a friend of my dad's took us up in his C-180 from NYC out to Block Island, RI. It was one of the coolest things I'd ever done and helped spark my interest in aviation (which has since been supplanted by motorcycles and now MINIs). I vividly remember flying along the beach for pretty much the entire length of Long Island and across Montauk Point looking down at all the über-mansions and wondering why there were so many swimming pools with the ocean right out their front doors. Block Island itself was so cool to my younger self: this little isolated community with their VERY OWN FREAKING AIRPORT!!!, seafood and lighthouses and just all kinds of cool stuff.
