Boston-area caravan to Lighthouse tour - Sunday 9.30.07

As I'm sure many of you already know Cape Cod MINIs is hosting a lighthouse tour starting and ending in Dennis, MA. I did this event last year and had an absolute blast!

First things first: Did you sign up? There were only 30 spots and all spots are filled if I'm not mistaken.

The plan is if you're signed up and want to carvan down that morning we will be meeting at Exit 17 off Rt 3(Braintree) in the Cingular Store parking lot. Map

We will be heading out around 9am.

I'd like to join your caravan. I'm new at this and don't know anyone and feel a little strange but it sounds like so much fun. I could meet you just before the bridge somewhere. Problem is once I post this, I don't know how to find it again!

Don't feel strange we have alot of fun and you'll quicky get to know us crazy people. Have you been to capecodminis.com? Thats the first step make sure you can still register for the event. If you are already registered then great! What bridge are you talking about meeting at?

Right above the first post there is a drop-down menu called "thread tools." From there you can subscribe to the thread (select instant notification) and get an e-mail anytime someone posted something on that thread.

Thank you, I like crazy people. I have registered for the lighthouse tour and am looking forward it. It sounds like a lot of fun. I was hoping that the caravan coming from the North of the Cape could meet somewhere just before the Sagamore bridge. I live very close by and could scout a location this weekend if you'd like.

Are you still interested in meeting up in the morning? Did you get a chance checkout any good spots to meet? I think most people are going down Saturday and staying the night so we don't have much interest in a boston caravan, but if you still wanna meet I'm down.
One word of advice since you're new to the MINI event scene. We use two-way radios to communicate with each other while on the road. The radios are used mainly for banter but there is usually some good "heads up" info as we drive. Certainly not necessary but it does add to the fun.

I'll be heading down sunday morning, but woburn is in the wrong direction, so I guess I'll try to catch you guys on the way.

I'm open to a different starting location. I just picked Woburn because there wasn't much interest and its right down the street from my house.

I was checking out some places to meet south of Boston, and I think exit 17 off Rt 3 would be good. There is a Cingular store right as you exit the rotary. We could meet there and continue on our way. Let me know if you're interested.

I think we should be able to make it there by then...it's almost a 3 hour drive for us...but we had planned on leaving around 5 anyway.
