2nd Annual Cape Cod Lighthouse Tour - Sunday September 30th

To all who attended our 2nd Annual Lighthouse Tour a big THANK YOU!

It was very fun to see old Mini friends and meet lots of new ones! It seemed like everyone was smiling and being social and introducing themselves to people who they hadn't met before.
There were at least 3 brand new Mini Owners who had owned their car less than 2 months which I think is terrific. There were also many people who had never attended a rally before and I hope that this one whets their whistle for more fun motoring events to come.

Of course the great weather that we ordered up special for you all didn't hurt either!

We will post the total amount raised for Angels of Hope on our website soon as well as information about an informal run down towards Westport, MA in early November that we've been talking about. We're calling it the "Spontaneous Combustion Tour"

Thanks Cape Cod MINIs! Nice to see some old faces (sic) and meet some new ones as well. I can appreciate the hard work that goes into planning these runs and I must say, whoever was responsible for the weather really pulled it off.

Scott and I (and Lulu) had such a good time on the Lighthouse Tour! This was our first MINI meet and definitely won't be our last. We met a lot of really nice, friendly people... all willing to share MINI stories of past. It was a blast!

The BEST part for me was 30 MINI's of every color all driving in a row under blue skies and over the sandy roads of Wellfleet and watching as almost every person stopped what they were doing and offered big smiles and waves! And then continuing on through the narrow roads of PTown and BECOMING a parade as on-lookers cheered and waved and took pictures.

If I had to describe the whole experience in one word, it would be HAPPY.

Thanks to all and we look forward to seeing everyone again.
