Jason,
Thanks for the video ... brings it all home in a completely different way.

I have an unused GP car cover - it will probably fit reasonably well and you're very welcome to it. Give me an address and I'll get it shipped to you.

Apart from that, as I said before all I have is a white 16" X-lite wheel. And lots of support.

I know it's irrelevant really, but I'm hoping we can still catch up with each other sometime next weekend (British Invasion)?

I can't help but watch it over and over. (You've already had my condolences in email) Such a tiny mistake has such a large cost. I think however you might have been better off hitting it on the side than on the front. There's a good chance your frame is OK (and even that is fixable...but not by yourself) because the suspension sacrificed itself. If you had hit the trees instead of the rock, you would have had a lot more damage, and still have suspension damage as well.
I know you are thinking of slowly doing it yourself (as I try to do as well), but if not Julian has told me several times he is very happy to send a flatbed to northern new england, and he certainly works with you on price of repairs when insurance is not paying.
And I still think that helmet is fine, with just a small bruise on the chin.

It's the Borla for the Cooper. Stock airbox. If you put a cone air filter on with the Borla it makes a lot of noise. Some people love it. Some people (like me) think it's more noise than the car deserves.

I know you're not looking for sympathy but you've got ours. I wish we had some spare parts for you. But alas I do not.

I thought it was part of the Borla Brown Cooper package. Didn't you get the leg scar as well?

It's 2 am. I just discovered that Josh had the last word on 11 threads, posted in about 35 minutes around midnight.

For people in the New York / New England area who said they want to know how they can help...

If you drive past a Honda dealer, see if they have a manual transmission Honda Fit that hasn't been sold yet. Fit Sport or base Fit, I don't care. If so, call me (Jason) and try to keep the dealership from selling the car before I get there. I already missed out on one this evening.

A manual transmission Cooper for under $20,000 would work too, especially a pepper white one.

I was on the phone all afternoon trying to find a car. It's driving me crazy.

I just filled out a request for info form for a Rochester Honda dealer (John Holtz) looking for a manual Fit. I gave them your phone #.

Check your email. 2 CR/B Coopers @ D&R in Indy. Both lightly optioned. You know you want one.
