| Ouch, glad you're okay! Looking at the film, did you lift off the throttle the moment before control was lost? It does look like a case of lift off oversteer, where the back can swing out violenty as a result of lifting off the throttle sharply mid bend... Tigger.  May '04 - Feb '07 R50, Feb '07 - May '10 R53. Enjoyed our time with MINI's, but ran out of space! Now Focus RS & Land Rover powered...  |

| Oh Crap, Jason! Just heard about this during the Ice Cream Gathering. I'm so glad you are okay. I'll keep my eye out and make a few calls to see what I can dig up for cars. I just saw a delivery truck at Lia Honda in Northampton, MA. I couldn't tell if there were any Fits on the truck. Perhaps you've already called there (413-586-8626). Lia also has a Honda dealership in Enfield, CT. Until you get a cover, any body shop has giant plastic-wrap like material called "crash wrap". Perhaps you could borrow some from a friendly shop? | The brown MINI will be rebuilt (once parts and money appear) and will still be the track car. The new car will be picked up on Wednesday or Thursday. Not sure which yet. |
