This will be another venture into a true wilderness - imagine that -- only a mere 43 are within 1 click or less off the 1800 km route from Calais to St. John's. That's going to require an average of 41 km or more between stops!

NoNo, see what happens when you decide not to come? [Cue evil voice] What was once yours, is now ours.
Soon, we'll all be claiming to be cartographers, and labeling water bodies with black ink.
[Passive aggressive voice] Just how are we supposed to survive without our cartographer? If we go in circles in the Cabot Strait, we'll know who to blame...

Heartbroken
(and begging for a vicious yet funny reply...we'll need to stock up before the trip since a certain someone has bailed...)
BLUE! You lable water with blue, dammit! And in the direction of a river's flow!
Really, the deciding factor was the realization that should anything happen to me on the trip, I'd receive no help at all from you lot. At this point I was supposed to pull up the picture of me stuck in the snowbank while you all stood around and snapped pictures, but apparently I never put the Labrador pictures on my website. Whoops.
Anyway, my New Year's resolution is to no longer be neither vicious nor funny. At least not intentionally so. Have fun finding someone else to have stupid, random things happen to them for you to mock! And just remember, if you see a handwritten sign that says "Carte", you'd better pick one up for me.
The first post has been updated with my understanding of everyone's plans.
Couple more have joined the "likely" column while I'm waiting to hear back from a few past Tour Travelers.
AntiqueCarNut sent me his checklist from last year (Thanks, Adam) which we can use to collaborate on who brings what spares. (And if Rob comes, some GPS stuff so folks back home can track our travels.)
I'll also reach out to MOP in the next week to see if they will loan us a few parts on the same "pay-if-you-use-them" agreement as last year. We had them for the Labrador trip and didn't need them, so that's a good omen.
