Happy Birthday Quinn !!

Quinn the Eskimo ... anyone ? ... anyone ?

seems a good fit for the Tour du Nord thread

How can you be in two places at once, when you're not anywhere at all ?

Wink 2009 ?

Days are getting shorter, first frost in less than 90 days.

Carry-over vacation for 2009, too.

Hope the rest of you are child seat collecting, LeMonsing, and soccering well.

Actually a CCBCC member expressed some interest in going recently. I had been serializing the story of past trips in our newsletter.

Blasphemy.

I've barely seen the sun this spring, often commuting both ways in the few hours of darkness.

However, starting Monday, all of us, including wee Skye, are headed to the cottage for two months of sun and wind, thankfully without cell phones and answering machines. We're also escaping the house, which suffered spring flooding, 2 roof leaks and a burst toilet flood last month which led to much of our house getting ripped out. Reconstruction will hopefully be completed while we're away. There went 5 years of savings, but oh well.

As for 2009, it won't be easy, but I'll find some way to to make it to the 5th Annual Arctic MINI Run.

So, where do we want to go?

If it is Radisson, can I spend more than 4 hours there before you make me turn around and head home?

On the other hand, Miami is actually a bit shorter ride than Radisson.

But your snowsuit gets awfully wet when you walk on the ocean.

I don't know if I've every fully expressed what a fantastic guy Pete is

If I had to choose between driving to Nebraska or driving to Radisson to see the aurora, I'd choose Radisson every time.
