Amazing how I ignore threads, finally decide to take a peek, and my name is mentioned. Not sure if I'll be attending this year. If I do, maybe I'll whip up a pie or something.
The same deterrent that's keeping me from Newfie may also keep me from this. I already have two trips and several bike rides I'm determined to go on this year, I'm not sure it's wise to try to squeeze in more.

I think the first post needs a big reminder to make your hotel reservations ASAP.
I know many many of us really liked the saturday night eat and greet, agreeing that it just needed to be slid back by an hour. I can see how it could be trouble that only some people would pay, so perhaps its best we leave that to the pros to do individually, perhaps T&C could provide waiters to make individual orders, or as we mentioned before the potluck, though I bet only a small fraction would bring food and many more would be consuming it.
I hope I can volunteer in more ways this year, but not useful in the two publicity-related areas mentioned..what else is needed? Perhaps compiling a list would better help potential volunteers pick something they would like. I do plan on doing the concours again.
Tis a cash-flow problem, my dear I suppose I could save some dough by camping in the back of my spacious vehicle. Now, how about a bike ride through the mountains? That might sway me to go
Already made my reservations back when Ian mentioned that! I'm all good to go Friday and Sat. night.
Yeah, a list would help...
In terms of the Sat. night situation, what if it is required to pay to enter? Or maybe sign up before hand like the other events that need a registration? I'm sure we can find out the max # of people for the min. price. I'm sure with the publicity of it last year, I bet people are more willing to attend now.
As of this afternoon, the T&C still has rooms for us, although our block is all that's left, there are no non-MINI rooms, the rest are all booked up apparently...
