I'm back to Lincoln tomorrow for camping, so I won't likely be back at it until Sunday.

Sorry for the delay in posting...been very busy every night working on the house, including several hours on sunday after getting home!

Yet another great time, this being my 5th MOT. Thanks again to all those who make it possible.

I have always loved the T&C, perhaps partially because I have been going there since my childhood, and it seems to have all the amenities of a big resort for what used to be a small price. Although I never have time to use the pool or anything during MOT weekends. But I would support changing town entirely, for a little change of pace that perhaps may make things more interesting to those who got bored with the same thing every year and didn't attend. Also, though close to the autoroad, it is out of the way for everything else. So slightly south nearer to Conway may be more ideal, and chop off some good time driving at the beginning and end of the weekend as well (for the majority of the people that come from the south, anyway)

Zero visibility makes it tougher to get pretty pictures, but I tried my best and have a few good ones still, they will get posted in due time, if I can find any spare minutes from housework.

Imagine you're having a backyard barbeque. A cop walks in and announces, "This is a random health and safety check to see whether you've removed the skin from the chicken before you served it." Though delicious in taste, we all know that chicken skin contains considerable unhealthy fat. If you're caught serving chicken skin, the cop gets your ID and issues you a $100 ticket.

Is it ludicrous? Why? Each year, obesity claims the lives of 300,000 Americans and adds over $100 billion to health-care costs!

I'll be heading back up that way in a few weeks... I can check out a few places and feel around to see if they would want an onslaught of MINI cars invading their hotel/motel... Any other requirements than space and a function hall or two?

A standard room is just a bit more than the T&C and it looks like there is a lot to do if one made a weekend of it with water slides/ alpine slides/ horse & bike riding/ train trips etc. It also looks like if you want to do some of that you can buy a pass with the room and save a couple of $$.

Short form - I like it!
