And don't forget your jackets...

This morning's temp on Mt. Washington -- at 10 am -- was about 42 deg. Anything goes up there, so be sure to bring along some warm layers to put on when you get to the top. And a raincoat.

There's no bad weather, only bad clothing.

ok lets say we lost one of our tickets and the paper we need to park. We have only one of the 2 we paid for. Somehow the envelope it came in was misplaced or lost.... Should we print out the email saying we paid for it? (Wife got her Tshirt in it) or do you have any suggestions? I will continue to look for it when I get home from work tonight.

To clarify what the hubs said above - somehow i misplaced the red ticket to the auto road, name tag, and blue raffle tickets from my packet. Should I be freaking out or totally freaking out?

What you should do is email me (GBMINI@MINIsOnTop.com) with the sign up info - I'll then be able to look up your reg # and print a new car tag for you to get from me on Friday evening

Also, there's the Friday Night Moose Hunt, departing the T&C at 6:30 sharp! Please start looking for my antlers out front at around 6pm.

Ooh! And the "What's the 'O' Stand For? Oh My God It's Early!" Sunday Morning Sunrise Hunt, departing the T&C around 3:30am for a drive up the auto road to see the sunset!

Tell you what. If you drive up the auto road at 3:30 a.m. and see the sunset I'll give you $100 on the spot.

Watch out! Steve tried to show his "Moon over Miami" once when he offered me $100 to meet him on a deserted road late at night!

A long way to go to miss meeting by one day

So, just for entertainment...

Many of you know that my son Adam (age 18) is hiking the Appalachian Trail. The trail goes from Springer Mountain in Georgia to Mt. Katahdin in Maine -- 2,174 miles. By Saturday he will have gone a bit over 1800 miles, which will put him just south of Crawford Notch. He plans to be at Mt. Washington for sunrise on Monday (after a night hike across the Presidentials accompanied by my daughter).

So if you see this hiker along the way anywhere, say hi.

I just saw a bunch of the photos Adam took in your Picassa? gallery... looks like an amazing adventure. Maybe Armen and I will take the long route on Friday at a chance to spot him?
