Sheena,
That's exactly the point, after coming down from the mountain, a 15-20 minute drive is OK, but maybe not 45 minutes.

I agree though, that we should be able to find lodging somewhere - and hopefully not too much more expensive than T&C rates ...

Thank you for a great weekend. It was our first MOT and we had a blast. We ended up doing Fracnconia #2 and then sequentially hooking up with four other MINI pods for a total of over 5 hours of driving time on Saturday. Plus I got to lead our Area 51 Group on the second half of the Golden Pond Route with a detour to run the eastern Kanc and Bear Notch Road on our way to Gorham. We're looking forward to next year! Thanks again.

DSL winning run

OK, so my video is not as impressive, but here's the winning dsl run from Saturday. Thanx to all who organized the dsl and volunteered, it was an absolute blast!! I can't wait to defend the title next year!! Also a quick vid from the descent of Mt Washington.

And a great big thanx to all the yellow hats! We had such a blast, and look forward to next years already!

Here's some pics from the weekend, enjoy.
