| My apologies for not mentioning the Observatory Tour! Bad Theo! How could I forget a tradition like the Obs Tour? Well, perhaps diminished cranial processing due to the 60's perhaps...or just Seccomania. Thanks to our Obs Organizer, Pete, for another outstanding behind-the-scenes peak at how the World's Worst Weather data is gathered and processed. This is really a "must see" and for those of you who are returning next year, I strongly suggest signing up early for The Tour. Pete will send out an announcement in the weeks prior to MINIsOnTop 2009. And, thanks for supporting the Mt. Washington Observatory with your donations! | Obs Check Presentation Not a fancy presentation since I had broken camp in the rain an hour earlier, but the programs director Dr. Peter Crane and executive director Scott Henley, along with the entire Mount Washington Observatory staff, greatly appreciated our contribution. Between the 6.288% of the overall MOT fund raising and the purchase of 3 family memberships as raffle items, the Obs netted over $1,000. Thanks very much for your generosity. Donating the 6.288% to the Obs every year is a great way to give back to the mountain which gives us some much pleasure  (as well as a bit of auto road terror  ).Pete |

| I posted here on Sunday night, but it mysteriously disappeared. MC2 arrived this weekend, with its MOT 08 article. Micheal did a great job on the writing. Our photos were included but not individually credited so I'm not sure who's is who's. |
