Oops! I caught the "2007" in the heading of the first post in the YC, Boston & A51 MINI2 thread and fixed it, and I went to the MINIS On Top website and set up a new category for 2008's link to the YC/A51 website. Is there text on the actual YC/A51 website that I missed?

Called T&C and they confirmed a ground floor room for me....SO...Beer swap in my room!!
How does Friday night sound? Or would sat be better since that MOTOR Venue is friday?? Input?

Btw I'll try brining some Czech beers and if anyone has any reasonable requests in terms of Central European beers let me know and I'll do my best to bring the best of them

Well, if you have (a) a pulse, and (2) a driver's license, you may have what it takes to be the Organizer/Leader of the 2008 MINIs On Top Somewhat Annual Moose Hunt! The 2008 MOTSAMH will take place on Friday night (June 27th) leaving the T&C about 6:00 pm to reach the Moose Country by sunset.

There have been no disappointments in Moose Sightings in years past, basically because the organizers paid the Moose bribes to arrive on cue. However, due to the current economic conditions, this year the cost of Moose Bribes has drastically escalated...but not to worry. Ian has assured us the he has an adequate credit limit on his 63 VISA credit cards to, again, come through with spectacular results.

So, if you'd like to take on the Moose Hunt Leadership (with consulting services supplied by The Cod), please post here or PM me, Michael, or Ian.

I'd love to do the MOTSAMH. How much time is there between the arrival of the YC/A51 caravan and departure for the Moose Hunt (Cameras Only Please)? I missed last year's, and a MH(COP) sounds like a blast!

Brian -- It's about 2-hours from Area 51 to Gorham. Leaving A51 at 2:00 will put you at the T&C 4:00-4:30. MH traditionally departs from the T&C at 6:00. Mooses are very prompt.

Does this mean you are in as MH Leader???

Depends on who can keep up! Seriously, give me a route to drive and I can probably stay between the ditches. I would love to attend, but "leadership" is not one of my better qualities. I'm not sure it's one of my lesser qualities. Maybe we can talk off-line about this.
