MINI Clubman VIP Launch Party for Western New England!

For those of us living in western New England, New Country MINI will be hosting a MINI Clubman VIP Launch Party at their dealership in Hartford on Friday, February 15th from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The showroom will be transformed into a "Club" atmosphere, so bring your best dancing shoes to move to the groove of the Club's DJ.

If you are interested in attending, contact Bob Craig at New Country via email. His address can be found by going to New Country's "About Our People" web page. Oh yeah, the Clubman unveiling will occur at 7:30 pm!

hmmmm, MoP seems to be having the same deal at the same day and time.

(except there's is over at 10:00) My kid in California bought a lotus exige today....God I hate him. (what a cool car)

I think this event is, perhaps, a MINIUSA-coordinated launch, complete with the theme and unveiling hour. Just a guess...

I think each dealer sets their launch party independently. For the R56, the various dealers were all over the calendar. For the clubman, at the very least, mini of manhattan is the following week, I think.

Each dealer really is doing their own thing. MINI is timing the launch by not releasing the Clubman to each dealer until either Thursday the 14th, or early Friday the 15th. They have announced only that each dealer will have some of their launch stock in time for Saturday the 16th of February. We will be scrambling to get each Clubman prepped and cleaned in time. If you want to see a Clubman early, fly over Port Elizabeth, and look at the lots on the Jersey side of the Statue of Liberty. Clubman cars everywhere. All of them are already through the inspection, and are waiting on trucks.
