The BMW club, White Mountain Chapter , is holding its annual "Cabin Fever" driving school at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday April 18.

A sure sign of spring! Your faithful new assistant to the assistant WMC event registrar notes that a couple of MINIs are already planning to attend -- who's there, who's square, who's nowhere?

I'm not sure if the brown MINI will be track-worthy by then. Probably not, so I haven't signed up.

Hope you'll join us at NHMS! This High Performance Driving School is suitable for all levels of participant from Novice to Expert. In car and classroom instruction is provided.

A great learning experience, with excellent instructors.

Yes. I want to attend. I haven't decided if I'll be getting a room at the Red Roof Inn or staying someplace else the night of the 12th. Driving back and from from Burlington would be no fun.

I guess I should register for the 12th, huh?

Ooopsies. I've been so wrapped up in confirming registrations for the HPD on 4/18 and ADSS on 4/13 that I totally forgot the instructor skills on 4/12.

P.S. Registration for the Advanced Driving Saftey School on April 13 is now closed. We're full with 36 students. We could use some more instructors and instructor-trainees.

Two recent developments promise to make April 18 one of the more memorable events this year.

First, since the April 13 ADSS is full, the normal prerequisite of taking an ADSS is suspended. So, you first timers can get on the track for just $95. It doesn't get any cheaper than that, folks.

Second, you may know of the massive MINI makeover that Onasled (Greg V.) has been toiling away on for almost 18 months. Greg's car is finally is ready for some track time, and he hopes to use the April 18th evente as part of his shake down prior to club racing later this year. Don't miss this chance to witness part of local MINI history.
