There's a motorcycle race over on the road course that day. So there will be plenty of people-watching to do over there, and plenty MINI-watching on the back lot. But probably not much else.

Well, my car is manaul and she can only sort of drive around. so dont think she is really ready yet.

Its good to know that she can sit in the class too. Can she sit in the car too?

I'll probably let her be my photographer while I drive.

Sorry, students are not allowed to take passengers in their cars during the driving exercises. You will have an instructor in the car at least 1/2 the time anyway.

She is more than welcome to take all the photographs she can manage!

As of this morning we are at 15 registered. So, very close to being able to Motor On with this event. I've dashed off an impassioned plea to the WMC driving events committee to keep this event on the calendar. Keep those fingers and toes crossed. We'll know tomorrow.

Of course having another two or three drivers sign up before then wouldn't hurt either!

Registration is actually open until June 9. However the WMC asked to see a minimum number of sign-ups before the end of May or they may have to cancel. I believe it has something to do with making a financial committment to NHMS and/or safety crew by Monday.

When the committee met two weeks ago there were still only 5 people signed up! Here's hoping that since we now have 15 drivers that will be enough.

A reminder -- you can sign up now and pay later (up to June 9) if you'd like.

Only 3 more drivers needed !!

With a few more registrations over the weekend we're now *just that close* to having enough drivers to move forward.

So the White Mountain Chapter driving events folks have decided to give us a few more days (until June 6th as originally planned) to find just a few more participants.

Last Call!

See the first post in this thread for more information and a link to the registration site.

Let's hear it from LePew that this event is now a GO! (We have enough people now, right???)

LOTF and Steve, I may not be able to take Friday off. But the market closes at 4 and I'm going to *try* to book out of the city asap. So if you don't mind caravaning in the evening then that's fine with me.
Otherwise I could put you guys in touch with somebody coming from NJ; I think she's planning to leave earlier in the day on Friday.

to be there at 8, probably a little before 5am. Still haven't decided which way to go, though. Anybody have an idea how Rt-9 in NH is cop-wise? Might just swallow the tolls and go the mass pike way.
