MINIs Only Driving Skills School - June 14

THE JUNE 14 ADSS FOR MINIS IS GO GO GO

I'm sure the Assistant Registrar will be sending out a confirmation email in the next day or two with event specifics. Keep in mind the absolute earliest we can get into the facility is 8am -- with cone setup and tech inspection probably continuing until 9am, the classroom probably won't get started until about 9:15. So you folks heading in from past the Edge of Middle Earth (like way west and south of Woostah) can shoot for a 8:30or even bit later arrival and have plenty of time to join the fun.

Any of you on the fence about attending? We still have room for more.

The biggest risk driving along NH Route 9 is running into Secco.

Well unfortunately there have now been several cancellations at the last minute. That puts us back below the required number of drivers to cover costs. I am hoping the driving events folks will still proceed; I will let you know as soon as I hear their decision.

With some reassurance from the WMC club officers, we've been given the green light (again) for Saturday. Thanks Bruce and Dick!

The weather is looking perfect for Saturday. Anyone wanting to improve their driving skills is welcome to attend. We'll keep registration open until tomorrow (Friday):

I just want to thank everyone that put on this event. I had an absolute ball. I just can't believe how fun these cars are. I had never done anything like this before but I can't wait to do something like this again.

It was a fun day indeed. I was very happy to get the brown MINI back out there and going sideways. I'm glad Brian got to take a few spins in it too.

Hopefully I didn't destroy anyone's driving progress too badly from the passenger's seat.

Thanks to all who worked together and made this happen. This was my first such event, and it was a blast! I would highly recommend others who have not attended something like this to do it.
I had gotten #0691 two weeks before, and it was also dying to do some motoring and attend boot camp, and have some fun with all the other MINIs.

Great meeting and seeing everyone! My time behind the viewfinder was rather limited, but I'll post my pics soon.

Do any of you go to the Auto X at Devins? I am going to check it out this Sunday as a spectator. There is very little I know about this Auto X but I find the whole thing fascinating.
