| Once again, a beautiful fall run! Thanks to Rick & Laurie for putting their time and money into another outstanding MAMA event. Not one u-turn or flooded stream! Thanks also to all the kind people who entertained Cooper's exuberance during our stops. He came home and immediately ate a little bit of dinner then crashed on the living room floor. The only time he got up was when Youk hit the home run...he likes Youk. Go Sox! | For those who are interested... Time Warp on Discovery just informed me that those who can juggle have 3% more brain mass - your brain actually grows when you learn to juggle... | Quiet, Gavin! A belated thanks to Rick and Laurie for another awesome run. It was interesting to see the varying leaf intensities. Sometimes it was dead, sometimes they were at their peak. Don't know when I'll be able to upload pix, and I have to sort through them, as Steph was the main photographer. "Snap the picture!" "I'm aiming! Oops, missed." "Don't aim, just click!" "Fine! Oh look at that. It came out good." "Yes, I know."  BTW, the bike ride SUCKED on Sunday. It was freezing and windy, and we repeatedly got lost because the road markings were occassionally blacked out and the route sheet didn't have mile markers  Guy in front of me broke his thumb, my brother wiped out, and I didn't even finish, but still did 50 miles. Know where I gave up? At the bridge we set Ed's ducks off at during his wake. I waited in the parking lot of the pizza place we had dinner at afterwards, and realized the gas station across the river was where I'd last spoken to Jackman. It was very bittersweet.  |

| Looks like y'all (can I say that on a New England thread?) had a good time, including Cooper! Sorry I missed it. Doesn't look like Oxygen Blue was well represented, was it? Next year I'll have to do better planning. ......I'm bound to do better next year 'cuz last year, I didn't know I was getting a MINI! |
