Wear something warm? While all you were riding the around countryside I climbed up and down Monadnock in a teeshirt. And yes NoNo, that's all I was wearing. It was my own homage to the Tan Hill Inn.
Once again, a beautiful fall run! Thanks to Rick & Laurie for putting their time and money into another outstanding MAMA event. Not one u-turn or flooded stream!
Thanks also to all the kind people who entertained Cooper's exuberance during our stops. He came home and immediately ate a little bit of dinner then crashed on the living room floor. The only time he got up was when Youk hit the home run...he likes Youk.

Religion is like a huge dog. If it's yours it's very friendly and comforting, but it scares the heck out of everyone else.
A belated thanks to Rick and Laurie for another awesome run. It was interesting to see the varying leaf intensities. Sometimes it was dead, sometimes they were at their peak. Don't know when I'll be able to upload pix, and I have to sort through them, as Steph was the main photographer.

BTW, the bike ride SUCKED on Sunday. It was freezing and windy, and we repeatedly got lost because the road markings were occassionally blacked out and the route sheet didn't have mile markers Guy in front of me broke his thumb, my brother wiped out, and I didn't even finish, but still did 50 miles. Know where I gave up? At the bridge we set Ed's ducks off at during his wake. I waited in the parking lot of the pizza place we had dinner at afterwards, and realized the gas station across the river was where I'd last spoken to Jackman. It was very bittersweet.
