Not me of course, but this got me thinking about news I heard back in Jan. that YC is closing around 28 stores and letting go over 300 employees. While I have never been a fan of their wares (yuck scented candles) I am saddened that the jobs are lost.

I'm planning to be there. We've got a couple people from WNY who have mentioned coming along, but not sure if they're a) registered yet or b) up for caravanning vs the straight through drive. We'll keep you posted!

We may be joining for the YC caravan, but it's too soon to tell. If ted's still with us, we probably won't because we'll definitely have to stop for her. If...I can't even say it...we will.

And for everyone else I am planning a pre-run to the pre-run to the run to MOT......I think that's right. I am not sure the plan so far, but it will start in my home town and run through some back roads up to you. Anyone coming off the pike, or up 91 and wanna get off the boring highway systems for a bit, keep an eye for my thread on nemini which I can't post a link here to because I haven't used this site enough, so i guess if you need more info post here and I will update here too!

Members of the White Mtn. Chapter of the BMWCCA will be assisting at a driving school at Loon Mountain on Friday, 26 June - a school for disabled drivers. The event runs from 10:00 - 4:00.

This is not a "MINIs Only" driving school.

The event is specifically for drivers who bring their own adapted cars. (Although a NASCAR car with a second set of controls will also be present and in use.)

If you're turning off Rt 93 in Lincoln with plans to drive the Kanc on the day before MOT, do stop in to see what one of these driving schools is all about - and to see drivers working through their disabilities.

The YC Caravan passes right through Keene...why don't you join us between 11:45 and 12:15. We come up to Keene from Northfield and head out Rt. 9 west from the new rotary. Then we turn right to follow Rt. 12 and 9 north. There is a paved pull-off just after that right turn where we wait to collect the group catching-up.
