My name is Sam Hotakov, I just got the 2003 Cooper S. I would like to get together with other owners of the Coopers and have a good time by sharing the expiriance or drive up to some nice places as a Mini Cooper Club of Long Island. Lets get together and make a decision of how to organize the club. The first meeting should not be held at some remote place, Jons Beach any field is a good spud. We have beutiful cars and we love to drive them,why don't We organize and have some fun. My e-mail is shotakov@cosentini.com. I've moved this in here as I think it will stay around longer, and reach more of the right audience.

I spent time living in long island as a small child, would love to return one day, so if there's a MINI club to visit by then it would be even more cool!

sam,

theres 3 of us who usually meet at sears in hicksville on tuesday nights. there is a car show there and we just sit around and chat. in the summer we go to exit 63 bald hill, there is a big show there every tuesday. friday night we are going to englishtown if it doesnt rain.

I live near Sanford Ave and around 150th street.

The only other Mini I have seen in the neighborhood is a Dark Silver/White S around the corner from me.

Mine will be Indi Blue/White.

Who did your aunt buy from? I am buying from Hassel Mini in Freeport.

Summer in Montauk. I would be very glad to motor the island en mass. How many of us would there be by next Spring/Summer?

Route 110
Nappeague Stretch
Old Montauk Highway

We could start in Queens and run out to the lighthhouse. Maybe? I think it sounds great. The whole island. Lets start naming stretches.

Hell- I'll even participate next weekend!

I was a member of the Miata club for a long time.It was fun than 30 to 50 cars were driwing in the middle lane.
We were getting together for dinners,golf clubs, just meeting to talk about cars and other things.It was fun.
Cooper is much more fun than Miata, but there is no club.
Lets get together.People on Long Island. Respond.

It was sitting in USA National, I'm sure because when it was posted, there was only the National forum.... (I have no idea where it got moved from to that forum, probably general) In any event, it was buried deeply enough it never got moved in the reorganization to regional forums.
