| Come to MAMA VII - Saturday, October 17, 2009 Come to MAMA VII Saturday, October 17, 2009 Travel Tip: Avoid Keene, NH on your way up, over or down...The Pumpkin Festival is the same date and motoring through the city will be just about impossible. We'll visit five covered bridges, Saint Gaudens National Historic Site and the Harpoon Brewery in Windsor, VT. Saint Gaudens will be weather permitting and has a fee of $5 per person. Great views of Mount Ascutney and great sculpture. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at Saint Gaudens (tailgate style....no picnic tables). The run will last ~4 hours and span ~70 miles from start to finish in Windsor. Sign up for leaf peeping here... MAMA's MINI's 2009

Once again, I'd love to do this. Jill sounds like she's game. We'll have to research it to see if it's realistic. As I was cleaning up the banks of Conewango Creek (which was an awful mess) with our watershed group last weekend, I was remembering those gorgeous streams in New Hampshire. A far cry from the Conewango (though it does have its charm in some places). Would love to get back there. Maybeeee....

Thanks to hwy61 we have a plan. A shorter version of the covered bridge run with stops at Saint Gaudens, The Path of Life Sculpture Garden and possibly a tour of the original Harpoon Brewery. Just have to figure out a good starting place around Walpole. We still want to do the Mass MOCA run. Maybe in the spring.

The link doesn't work over at MMC ?? I posted a link to this page. I'm hoping we'll be able to attend. Since we're a single Mini household now, I have to see if Audra will take the pearl out........unless I can bring the Z4 ? :-)

If we have that Mazda 3 from Connecticut we can certainly have a Z4. There might be (or not) a red Honda from Worcester too. Just read in "Autoweek" that the new Mazdaspeed 3 left the Audi A3 and the Volkswagen GTI in the dust in 0-60 mph time at 5.72 seconds and came in second behind the Porsche Carrera GT in braking. 263 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. Hmm...
