mini MINI meet at MINI Peabody :)

GBMINI (my Indi Blue MCS) met GOMINI (Steves Red MCS); I took some great pictures after the dealership washed both cars for us

Nice pics, Ian. Did MINI of Peabody source and install the Euro shelf and rear foglights parts for you? Thanks.

KarmanS,
I had MINI Peabody order the shelf parts for me, but I had already bought the full toggle panel (from MikeyTheMini) last year.

Ian, thanks for the prompt reply and clarification. So does the rear fog light actually function or is the full toggle panel just for cosmetic reasons? Thanks again!

As of today ... the rear fog switch is cosmetic only.
But I really hope to get functionality into it one day (like when spring comes!)

MINI told me that putting the euro shelf on my car would ruin the warrenty. Did that change?

"MINI" who? MINI USA?
I have had no official word for or against the euro shelf.

I *have* seen an official document banning the "mini storage pocket" type of under-steering-wheel panel, but I there is nothing about the euro shelf.

As far as I am concerned, if my MINI dealership can order the part in USA, then it is approved!

I stopped at Peabody Mon. 3/31 on my way to Maine and NH and by coincidence met suvssuck and Mrs. suvssuck. They had just taken delivery of their gorgeous Indi blue MCS w/ UK roof. Very nice. Unfortunately dopey me forgot I had the digicam and neglected to photograph the event.
Anyone else meet up at Peabody lately?
