Maryland has a good idea -- Italian Job

Anybody interested in a New England copycat of the Mid-Atlantic MINI rally event for the opening of The Italian Job?

Come to think of it, if Paramount was smart, they'd offer 1/2 price admission to anyone who shows up on opening day in a MINI!

I like the way you think.

I think they should also have reserved front row parking "FOR MINIs ONLY", maybe several rows. It would be a way to attract attention to the opening.

I didn't mean to kill your thread... Just wanted to kind of request that you make it a southern new england, or even Boston area thing since I'm already (half heartedly) trying to do a northwestern new england thing. New England is a big place, after all. I pity those MINI owners in northern Maine.

What we need is a friendly cinema (?) owner.

I also happen to know that someone at NEMO is hoping to organize a get-together at Braintree Cinema 10 on May 31; if that comes to anything I will let everyone know.

But maybe we want to just get our own thing together - who knows a theater owner?

I understand that NEMO (New England Mini Owners) already has a viewing planned for someplace in MA. Not sure of any of the details.

I just wish that I didn't have to work on Saturdays.

http://www.airportworld.com/NEMO_main.htm

I'll try and get the specifics and post them here ASAP.
