Offline | Oh boy, was that fun! It was real rally style with directions and check points. I've never seen so many MINI's on the road in so many places! It was interesting to note that KEITH DID NOT put one CRITICAL right hand turn into the rally directions so there were many of us ALL OVER the place. It certainly added to the fun!! I was able to meet many of you who will be going to Mt. Washington. I have to say that every single one of you are great people. Awesome food, discounts on MINI merchandise and trophies to the top three rally finishers. Cheers to all and thanks! Oh! I forgot my camera so will rely on others to post. Missing my buddies Dan and Ed but glad I have two angel buddies , And on a quest to Right Secco's Wrongs |

Online | I took my camera, but it had an "E30 error" (BMW infiltration maybe ) so I think I've lost most of my shots... It's time like this I regret going digital ![]() I'll take it into work tomorrow and see if I can get anything off it. I really hope I can. Who got the most lost..? I had 65 miles and missed out checkpoint #3... I did find a nice ice cream stand though - I think it should feature on the next run..!! |

What a great day - perfect weather, lots of MINIs and friendly people, and a lovely drive ... Glad you enjoyed the Junction Gavin; next time you are there you should drop into my office too ![]() Hope you get more sign-ups for the Mount Washington Run, Steve. | Expect Anything Else? | Well lets just say 73 miles was where I ended up. Still no clue on checkpoint #1, found 2 and 3 no problem. I think it was the canoe launching dock but saw no one there. It was a great time and look forward to doing it again soon. I will miss the MT. Washington rally. Pictures should be plenty, will get them on here. Best part was watching a line of minis at one left trun, the first 3-4 missed the turn, clumped themselves together off cours while the rest of us went left. Wish I had a video of it. I couldn't stop laughing. Hats off to Mini of Peabody, all the minis and their owners!!! Who were the winners and what times did they have? What was the time they were looking for? Also is there a list of our own times just for laughing sakes. Keith 2003 DS/DS MCS |

Offline | I think the winning time was 1 hour 29 minutes ... maybe Keith at MINI Peabody will give us some more details? You passed checkpoint #1 on the was to #2 ... if it took you a long time to get there, perhaps they had given up and left ![]() |

Offline | I use IRFANVIEW to do my resizing, and thumbnail web page creation ... it does a nice job of resizing (if you tick the "resample" option) and can also do batch conversions which I used to reduce all the pics from 2048x down to 512x ... |

Offline | Thanks for posting your pics, Ian. Can you link directly to pics on that site and post them here? I still haven't found a place to store pics and link directly. It doesn't want to link with Sony Image Station so I only use my mini2 gallery. Missing my buddies Dan and Ed but glad I have two angel buddies , And on a quest to Right Secco's Wrongs |

Offline | Gavin, You were on route 22 at the Hamilton Wenham / Essex line. Route 128 exit 18, onto route 22 and follow signs to Essex. If you reach the Causeway in Essex (where Woodmans is) you went too far ![]() The Junction is a very popular place in the summer. |

Online | Oh, I know Woodmans... do you mean that I can go and get fish and chips at Woodmans and then drive a bit further and get ice cream..!?! I've always gone to Woodmans from Gloucester - usually after a diving trip. Excellent..!! That's my summer evenings taken care of then ![]() |

Offline | You mean ALOT big I'll have to use that site. When I try to link to pics. from others web sites it usually doesn't work. Must be my vastly inferior tech skills. Missing my buddies Dan and Ed but glad I have two angel buddies , And on a quest to Right Secco's Wrongs |

Offline | Sounds like y'all had a blast. I had decided to head to Killer Kurves in CT and then got kiboshed on that. Now that she's done it once to me, I should be OK for the rest of the year. (I am guilty too but shhhh)Steve, I see that vent's tonsils in that picture. Lawdy, Lawdy, the Cross I bear. |
